Fire in in the Sugar House section of Salt Lake City, firefighter injured
Salt Lake City, Utah — Sunday morning, crews spent hours battling the fire in an apartment complex after a fire burned down an office building in the Sugar House section of Salt Lake City.
According to the crews, a firefighter was injured, and six people have been displaced from a nearby.
The fire started around 2:00 a.m. in the area of 1110 East Ashton Avenue authorities said.
A firefighter was sent to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
According to the firefighters, they were forced to extinguish the fire from a distance, because of the structural integrity of the building.
Power in the area was turned off, and nearby roads were closed.
