Shooting in downtown Salt Lake City, one man is death
Salt Lake City, Utah — According to police investigators a deadly weekend shooting happened in downtown Salt Lake City.
Officers responded to reports of the shooting near 125 West 300 South about 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
When officers arrived on scene they found a 22-year-old man in extremely critical condition.
First responders began Cardiopulmonary resuscitation but were unable to save the man who passed away at the scene.
According to witnesses, investigators had been in a confrontation with at least one person prior to the shooting.
Police say they are looking for as many as three suspects overall.
The investigation is ongoing, investigators have yet to establish a motive in the shooting.
