1 in critical condition in West Valley shooting
West Valley City, Utah – On May 21, a man is shot twice in West Valley City. Police are currently on the search for a suspect. Friday evening, the West Valley Police Department was send to a home near 3800 West and 6600 South for reports of a shooting around 11:34 p.m.
The police discovered a 50 years old man wounds to his upper body with two gunshots when arrived on the place of the accident . According to the Police Department, before 11:40 p.m., suspect arrived with a dark-colored sedan , got out of the car and attempted to start a conversation with the victim who stand outside vehicle.
As they were talking, the suspect apparently took out a gun and shot the victim twice.
The victim has critical injuries and at the moment is at the hospital.
The West Valley Police Department says that the suspect is not a threat to the community as they search for him. He remains at large and general public should not be alarmed.
The West Valley Police Department still doesn’t know the reason that caused the shooting ant the relation between the suspect and the victim.
Police still investigate the scene.
