HEBER CITY — Four people were arrested after a task force discovered a clandestine lab inside a Heber City house Friday evening.

The Wasatch Back Major Crimes Task Force went to the residence after receiving some tips. The task force proceeded to do a “knock and talk” that led to a search warrant, according to a Saturday morning Heber City news release.

While searching the home, it was determined there was a large scale clandestine lab. Officials did find chemicals in the lab and called the Drug Enforcement Administration for assistance safely decontaminating and disassembling the lab.

“Officer’s took necessary precautions to ensure that the citizens of Heber were safe and not in danger,” read the news release.

Charles Dominick Bonsavage, Izzak Anthony Martinez, Kandis Kathleen Hushaw, and Dustin Joseph Christensen were all booked into Wasatch County Jail on suspicion of various misdemeanor and felony charges.

During the investigation, Martinez was located possessing child pornography; Hushaw and Christensen also arrived at the residence early on in the investigation under the influence of a controlled substance, according to the release. Christensen was booked on suspicion of sex offense-failure to register.

The city did not release what chemicals were found in the residence.
