National parks across Utah celebrate MLK Day with free admission
Salt Lake City, Utah — With free admission for everyone, Utah’s national parks are celebrating the late Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
In the free-fare day, more than 400 national parks across the country will be participating.
MLK Day is just one of five days parks will be completely free this year.
The other four days include April 16, the first day of National Park Week, Aug. 4, the anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act, Sept. 24, National Public Lands Day and Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
According to the National Park Service, the entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation or special tours.

• Arches National Park – Moab, Utah
• Bryce Canyon – Bryce Canyon, Utah
• Canyonlands – Moab, Utah
• Capitol Reef – Torrey, Utah
• Zion National Park – Springdale, Utah
