Health Dept.: 132 new COVID-19 cases in Utah; 6 new deaths
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health has released the latest case counts on COVID-19 in Utah.
56 people have died of COVID-19 in Utah, up six since Sunday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Utah has 5,449 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of those, 456 have been hospitalized – a hospitalization rate just above eight percent.
An estimated 2,387 people have recovered.
The health department has received test results for 126,715 people.
The Utah Department of Health does not have a news conference scheduled for Tuesday.
