Layton police asking for public’s help in locating 2 missing girls

LAYTON — Police are asking for the public’s help to find two girls who are missing and unprepared for winter weather.
Eva Kosanovich-Ware, 15, and Autumn Mayo, 14, are missing after they left a group home in Layton near 1000 West and Gordon Avenue on Wednesday, according to the Layton Police Department.
Autumn has blue hair, according to Layton Police Lt. Travis Lyman, as seen in a picture the department posted to Facebook.
Eva and Autumn are not from Utah and do not have money or the ability to contact help, Layton police say. Neither girl was dressed for Utah’s winter weather and police said that they are concerned about their safety.
Anyone with information can contact the Layton Police Department at 801-497-8300 and reference case 21-01755.
