Man’s body found on I-80 in Tooele County
Knolls, Utah – According to Sgt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol, a body has been hit in the right lane of eastbound Interstate 80.
The accident occurred at milepost 25, approximately 16 miles west of Knolls, Utah in Tooele County.
The victim was identified as a 27-year-old man. He was hit in the right lane, which remains closed at this time.
Officials said they are unsure how the body got there and that there are no unattended vehicles in the area.
According to Sgt. Roden, it is not clear if the body was already deceased when it was struck.
An investigation is ongoing.
