No additional COVID-19 deaths reported in Utah and 156 new confirmed cases
SALT LAKE CITY — No additional deaths from COVID-19 were reported Friday by the Utah Department of Health. The total number of deaths in Utah remains at 46.
There have been 156 new confirmed cases of the disease, bringing the total to 4,828.
13 new hospitalizations were required, making the total since the outbreak began 403.
4,057 more people were tested since Thursday’s report. 112,558 Utahns have now ben tested.
State Epidemiologist, Dr. Angela Dunn, will go over these numbers and what they mean in Utah’s efforts to mitigate the spread of the virus at a media briefing at 1:30 p.m.
