Salt Lake Co. Health Department Says Vaccination Cancelations Sent In Error
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Officials with the Salt Lake County Health Department said no COVID-19 vaccination appointments have been canceled and cancelation emails sent out Wednesday evening were sent in error.
“Late this evening, we accidentally sent a cancellation notice to people scheduled for several vaccination events in late February,” officials said in a tweet. “This notice was an error; No scheduled events have been canceled.”
The announcement came after the department’s website crashed Wednesday morning as Utahns age 70 and older attempted to schedule appointments to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
