Unified police seeking public’s assistance locating missing 13-year-old girl with autism in Kearns area
KEARNS, Utah — The Unified Police Department – Kearns Precinct is asking for the public’s assistance locating a missing 13-year-old girl with autism who did not return home from school on Tuesday.
According to police, 13-year-old Kaylie Peterson has been missing from Thomas Jefferson Junior High since 3 p.m. The campus is located at 5850 S 5600 West in Kearns, Utah.
Peterson is a low-functioning (verbal) autistic child. She was last seen wearing a turquoise sweater with lace on the bottom, pink leggings, and white shoes.
In a past case involving Peterson, she was located at the Walmart in Jordan Landing.
