Utah reports another 1,343 COVID-19 cases, 4 new deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — A day after Utah recorded its most single-day COVID-19 numbers, the cases dropped to a still-high 1,343, with 4 new deaths.
With Friday’s numbers, 901,048 people have now been tested for COVID-19 in Utah, with 243 currently hospitalized with the virus.
The rolling seven-day average for positive tests in Utah stands at 1,148 per day, with a rolling seven-day average of 13.8 percent positive tests.
A total of 505 people have died in Utah, including the latest reported by the state:
- Male, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Female, older than 85, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- Male, between 65-84, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
