West Valley City Police Department investigating fatal shooting at Peachwood Park
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — The West Valley City Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting at Peachwood Park Sunday night.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., the West Valley City Police Department responded to Peachwood Park, located at 3525 West 3965 South, for a reported male who had been shot and later pronounced deceased.
“We are in the process of gathering evidence and canvassing for witnesses,” read a statement from the department.
Investigators were working to determine a motive in the case and had not released a suspect description.
As of press, police hadalso not released the victim’s identity.
