2 people killed, 3 injured in crash in the Kaysville area
On Tuesday night there was a serious crash in the Kaysville area. Southbound lanes of Interstate 15 were closed.
According to the police report, two people were killed and three others were injured — at least one critically, a spokesman for the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed to 2News.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the interstate near Burton Lane. At least one air ambulance landed on the interstate to transport an injured passenger.
Southbound traffic was diverted off the interstate at 200 North, 2News was told. Drivers are advised to expect major delays in the area.
