Donovan Mitchell agrees to 5-year, $195M extension to contract with Utah Jazz
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has agreed to a 5-year, $195 million contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski, an ESPN Senior NBA Insider.
According to ESPN, Mitchell, 24, was acquired by the Utah Jazz with the 13th overall pick during the 2017 NBA draft, and the Jazz has made the Western Conference playoffs in each of his three seasons.
Mitchell has averaged 22.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game during his overall career, according to SLC Dunk. Last career year, he averaged 24 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
2News has put in calls to the Jazz organization to get independent confirmation of the extension.
