Boil water order issued for part of Cedar City

Cedar City, Utah — On Wednesday a boil water order was issued for parts of Cedar City after possible E. coli contamination was detected.
The areas under the order include:
• 200 South to Shurtz Canyon Drive
• All areas east of Main Street
•
According to city officials, the system is currently being flushed and tested after samples collected Monday showed the possible contamination.
The order will remain in effect until a 100% negative test is returned.
