Over 2,500 positions are available at Utah’s free virtual job fair
Salt Lake City, Utah – On Thursday, Nov. 7, the Utah Department of Workforce Services will have a virtual job fair that is free to attend and will feature over 40 firms hiring for over 2,500 opportunities.
Jobs in retail, government, e-commerce, transportation, healthcare, aerospace, and defense will all be available at the job fair. The online-only job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is easily accessible via computer or phone.
Workforce Development Director Liz Carver stated, “The virtual job fair is a great place to connect with multiple employers from the comfort of your home, whether you are looking for part-time, full-time, or seasonal work.” “We hope that anyone who wants to advance their career or find a new opportunity will come to the fair.”
To get ready for the virtual job fair, applicants should upload a professional photo and resume to their Utah Department of Workforce Services page. Online pre-registration for the event is available at jobs.utah.gov.
Job searchers will view a digital floor plan with rows of booths, each representing an employer, after checking in to the event. By clicking on the booths, you can view the company’s social network sites, employment openings, and profile.
Candidates can share their resumes and initiate a live chat with a hiring agent. A planned interview, a private video call, or even an immediate job offer may result from this.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services will provide two online sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 6 to help job seekers make the most of the virtual job fair in its entirety. At 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, the first and second workshops will take place.
