Police search for suspects who stabbed, punched man in Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Police are asking for information that could help them identify two aggravated assault suspects.
Police say the assault happened on April 10 at 5:04 p.m. in the area of 51 S. Main Street. The victim struck up a conversation with the two suspects, according to police. At some point in the conversation, the suspects got angry. One of them punched the victim, the other punched him and stabbed him in the chest and arm, police stated.
The suspects reportedly left the area in white minivan.
The first suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s, bald and with a long, black beard. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a “stocky” build.
The second suspect is described as a Black male who stands about 6 feet 1 inch tall, is clean-shaven and has short, black hair.
