Woman stabbed to death by teen in Murray
A 34-year-old woman died after being stabbed by a teenage boy in Murray Thursday night.
The incident occurred the parking lot at 4439 Brick Oven Way, according to Murray police.
The victim, 34-year-old Melissa Wood, was reportedly stabbed during a confrontation with a 16-year-old.
The juvenile is in custody and was booked into juvenile detention.
The investigation is ongoing. No other details have been released at this time.
The stabbing occurred in the same area where a man was fatally shot on Wednesday.
A fundraising webpage has been established to help Wood’s parents pay for funeral expenses.
