Renowned bowling ball maker in Utah honors its history
Brigham City, Utah – Storm Products, located in Brigham City, Utah, is one of the few companies in the world that produces bowling balls, and it has carved out a sizable niche in the bowling industry. Since its founding in 1991, the business has cemented its place in the international bowling scene while preserving close ties to its roots in Utah.
The Vice President of Product Development at Storm, Steve Kloempken, draws attention to how unique their business is, saying that “there are only 11 places in the world dedicated to the manufacture of bowling balls.” Storm’s significance in the industry is highlighted by this designation, which puts it in a unique category.

Storm now employs over 220 people and produces up to 4,000 bowling balls every day, demonstrating the company’s expansion and dedication to quality. The production method, which has been honed over many years, guarantees that every ball performs to the greatest standards.
In addition to manufacturing, Storm is dedicated to social responsibility and has made substantial contributions to philanthropic organizations including the Huntsman Cancer Institute and college scholarship programs. Leanne Hulsenberg, Director of Tournaments, Events, Youth, and Charity, emphasized these initiatives, which demonstrate Storm’s commitment to give back to the neighborhood.
