Teen dies after being shot by another teen in West Jordan
West Jordan, Utah – Saturday morning a 13-year-old has died in an incident in West Jordan.
According to the West Jordan Police Department, around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, July 17, a tragic incident occurred involving two boys.
Two friends, a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old snuck out of their homes and one of them had gained access to a gun, according to West Jordan Police.
According to police, a 15-year-old not knowing the gun was loaded, shot in the head by accident the 13-year-old.
The 15-year-old is booked into a juvenile detention center and is being investigated for manslaughter charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
