US-89 closed due to water over the road
Thistle, Utah — Monday morning US-89 was closed due to due to flooding.
According to a Utah Highway Patrol tweet, the closure was announced from UHP at 7:18 a.m. stating the closure is expected to last for two to three hours.
At 10:04 a.m., UHP tweeted an extension of the original estimated clearing time, adding another four to five hours.
Devastating flash flooding swept over several parts of Utah on Sunday.
