Utah Jazz add Philadelphia 76ers strategist to coaching staff

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz has added Sergi Oliva to its coaching staff, according to a news release issued Friday afternoon.
Sergi Oliva most recently worked with the Philadelphia 76ers as Vice President of Strategy. He started with the 76ers as a Basketball Operations Analytist in 2014, and he worked with them for six seasons.
Oliva is a native of Gelida, Catalonia, where he served as a head coach at the youth and senior amateur levels.
“He is also a regular collaborator of the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ), particularly as a lecturer in their coaching certification courses,” the news release said.
