Brighton, Utah – On Sunday, Brighton Resort announced its opening date for the 2021-2022 ski season.
According to resort officials, they will open on Nov. 23 along with Solitude Mountain Resort.
Alta Ski Area shared their opening day will be on Nov. 24.
As of Sunday, Park City Mountain has yet to share an official opening date.
Due to warm weather, a number of resorts delayed opening this year.
Both Park City Mountain Resort and Solitude had aimed to open on Nov. 19.
Businesses around the resorts shared they are excited for the season to begin.
“The sooner we can get ski business rolling, I mean the white gold, that’s why we’re all here,” said Patrick Murray, a ski shop manager in Park City.
