Accidental shooting in West Valley City, one child in critical condition
West Valley City, Utah — According to police, a child in West Valley was critically injured in an accidental shooting.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Saturday near 3100 S and 4800 W.
Lt. Steve Beardshall with the West Valley Police Department did not have any details on what led to the shooting.
At this time, the child’s age is unknown.
An investigation is underway, and as it becomes available, police will release more information.
