Crews are battling with Dalton Wildfire
Washington County, Utah — According to Hurricane Valley Fire Department, crews are battling a wildfire in Virgin near State Route 9 at Dalton Wash Road.
State Fire and Bureau of Land Management are on scene responding as well as eight engines and wildland apparatus, one water tender, and one ambulance.
Until sunset aircraft also helped in the fire-fighting effort.
At this time, a type three incident management team has been requested and should arrive tomorrow, according to the fire department.
Crews will be on scene all night and Dalton Wash Road is closed.
