Elementary school in Provo moves to online learning
Provo, Utah — Following a Test-to-Stay COVID-19 event held on Friday, Edgemont Elementary School in Provo announced it will be moving to remote, online, learning.
According to school officials, three days next week, prior to Fall Break, will be remote learning days.
The change is due to the “high number of positive results identified in students and employees,” the announcement said.
The Utah County Health Department and Provo City School District made the decision based on Friday’s COVID-19 test results.
This announcement only applies to Edgemont Elementary School.
According to school officials, the specific details about the remote learning process will be sent directly to the parents of Edgemont students.
