Salt Lake Bees’ final game at Smith’s Ballpark saddened the fans

Salt Lake City, Utah – Terri Drashner first attended Smith’s Ballpark games when she was five years old in the 1960s.

“This will be missed,” she murmured. “A portion of my life is this.”

Aubrey Baxter and Michael MacDonald can’t even remember how many games they’ve attended.

“Our parents used to take us here when we were little,” Baxter remarked.

“Fifty? Yes, we have visited a number of them,” MacDonald continued.

The Bees’ relocation to Daybreak saddens the two supporters.

MacDonald stated, “I’m sure I’ll go, but I don’t know if I’ll be going to as many games.”

Jennifer Clayton and Tyson feel the same way.

“I like the location down here, and I already know ticket prices are going to go way, way up, so I was disappointed that they’re moving,” Tyson remarked.

The Claytons predicted that in the upcoming seasons, they will likely attend just as many games.

Jennifer stated, “I think that eventually that will feel like home too, but I think it’ll take some time for people to adjust.”

Drashner claimed she will always support her squad even though she is upset about the transfer.

“We need to give it a chance, investigate, and see,” she remarked. “It’s difficult because it’s so far away, but we’re going to accomplish it.”
