The eleven-day Utah State Fair begins with rides, food, and other activities
Salt Lake City, Utah – With a slew of family-friendly events, the Utah State Fair for 2024 is officially started.
The Utah Fairgrounds will be home to sheep and cows, funnel cakes and corndogs, carnival rides and entertainment, and much more for Utahns to enjoy from Thursday, September 5, to Sunday, September 15.
There will be plenty of events for Utahns to pick from over the course of the next 11 days, something for everyone. To begin with, visitors to the fair can observe a milking demonstration, take in a trapeze show by the Flying Royals, or use their palates to vote on which park serves the greatest food.
The Utah State Fair will also feature photography, handcrafted blankets and quilts, and of course, the enormous Butter Cow sculptured from more than 600 pounds of butter, showcasing Utah’s most creative minds.
While fair entrance is required for several of these activities, there are others that require payment or the purchase of fair tickets. The annual monster truck rally and demolition derby will help cap off the celebrations, and admission to both events includes a state fair ticket.
John Fogerty, Dustin Lynch, and The All-American Rejects will all be performing live at the state fair. Although gate entry to the Utah State Fair is included with the performances, show tickets are required.
Check out the Utah State Fair website at utahstatefair.com to get tickets or find out more about what the event has to offer.
