This year, St. George will begin offering daily flights to Los Angeles
St. George, Utah – Soon, St. George will have direct access to the biggest city on the US west coast.
SkyWest Airlines will start operating daily flights between Los Angeles International Airport and St. George Regional Airport on September 26, 2024.
Every morning at 11:30 a.m. MT, the flights to Los Angeles are planned to depart from the St. George airport and arrive in California at noon local time. Every day at 1:30 p.m. PT, the flight back to Utah is expected to take off and arrive in St. George at approximately 4 p.m. MT. Purchases of tickets for the flights were made possible on Friday, June 21.
The resumption of direct flights between St. George and LAX, according to SkyWest President and CEO Chip Childs, would contribute to the provision of “unparalleled destinations and air service” for residents of southern Utah.
“From St. George, SkyWest connects travelers to the world’s premier airline networks and unmatched destinations worldwide,” said Childs.
With its main office located in St. George, SkyWest presently operates many daily flights to major western cities such as Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas. This autumn, Los Angeles will be added as the fifth hub for SkyWest’s “United Express” service.
