Salt Lake City, Utah – On Sunday, several fire departments in Utah remembered the first responders killed in the collapse of the twin towers 21 years ago.

Morgan Country’s Fire/EMS paid tribute with a coordinated horn blast throughout Weber and Morgan counties.

Firefighters from the North Fork Fire Department walked up 343 steps loaded in their full gear at the Sundance Mountain Resort.

The two firefighters and an intern walked up 343 steps to remember the 343 firefighters killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack.

During a ceremony at the Pentagon, President Biden honored victims of the 9/11 attack.

“I know for all those of you who lost someone, 21 years is both a lifetime and no time at all,” Biden said at the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia. “It’s good to remember. These memories help us heal, but they can also open up the hurt and take us back to that moment when the grief was so raw.”
