Salt Lake City, Utah — A new study about a COVID-19 treatment that’s highly effective in preventing hospitalizations, severe illness, and death was a discussing subject between researchers with Intermountain Healthcare.
According to the study, treating patients with a specific antibody treatment will reduce illness and hospitalizations by more than 50 percent.
The treatment has also saved many patients from dying due to complications from the virus, researchers said
They emphasized the key to effectively reducing illness with this treatment is administering it within seven days of symptom onset.
