Cedar City, Utah – After getting hurt on a trail Saturday morning near Cedar City, a mountain biker needed help.
Crews received a call from a biker who had a broken collarbone and “other injuries” at the Boulder Dash Trail, according to Iron County Search & Rescue.
Crews dispatched and found the biker walking 100 yards down the trail.
The biker was assessed, stabilized, and transported to a local hospital.
According to Iron County Search & Rescue, if you are injured on a trail and call rescue crews, stay near where you called.
Dispatchers lock the GPS of the call and send it to rescue crews so they can find you.
