Police investigating an attempted homicide in West Valley City
West Valley City, Utah – A shooting on Friday night at 3589 S 6400 W was an attempted homicide, police said.
According to West Valley City police PIO Pete Valencia, a victim was found in critical condition but is still alive.
Police believe that the shooting wasn’t an accident and the suspect meant to harm the victim.
Detectives are looking for more information on what happened, and they canvassed the neighborhood for security footage.
There are no suspects, and Valencia believes there is no threat to the public.
